Aluminium 24530 Round Bar
Aluminium 24530 Round Bar is one of the more prominent aluminium alloys. Due to the alloys good fatigue resistance, the material is specified for use in the Aerospace and Military sector in fuselage applications in such areas as structures and wing tension members. With improved fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth, Aluminium 24530 continues to maintain strength characteristics.
Aluminium 24530 is heat-treatable aluminum alloy with copper as the primary alloying element. It is malleable when in the fully soft, annealed temper and can be heat-treated to high strength levels after forming. Due to its high strength to weight ratio, it is widely used in aerospace applications.
