Description
X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bars / 1.4313 Round Bars
X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bars / 1.4313 is a Low-Carbon Martensitic Stainless Steel Containing Chromium, Nickel and Molybdenum. Our X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bars are available in different diameters, lengths and surface finishes to suit machining, fabrication and engineering requirements.
1.4313 is corrosion resistant, soft martensitic chrome-nickel steel with molybdenum addition. Very good strength and toughness properties. 1.4313 heat treated according to the following three different heat thereatment contitions: QT650, QT780, QT900. The numbers 650, 780 and 900 are showing the minimum tensile MPA strenght of the materials.
M/s Textron Steel and Alloys Stock & Supplies X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bar, also known as EN 1.4313 stainless steel round bar, for demanding industrial applications requiring a combination of strength, toughness and corrosion resistance.

Properties of X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bar :
X3CrNiMo13-4 offers a useful combination of mechanical strength, toughness and corrosion resistance. Its relatively low carbon content together with nickel and molybdenum contributes to its performance compared with conventional 13% chromium martensitic stainless steels.
Key features include:
• Good mechanical strength after suitable heat treatment
• Good toughness
• Good corrosion resistance for a martensitic stainless steel
• Low-carbon composition
• Nickel-alloyed martensitic structure
• Suitable for demanding engineering components
• Suitable for machining after appropriate heat treatment
Applications of X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bar :
X3CrNiMo13-4 Round Bar is used for manufacturing components where strength, toughness and corrosion resistance are important.
Typical applications include:
• Hydraulic turbine components
• Turbine shafts and components
• Pump components and impellers
• Compressor components
• Energy and power-generation equipment
• Offshore equipment
• Industrial machinery
• Pressure-related components
• Engineering shafts and machined components
The grade is particularly associated with turbine, pump and compressor applications.
