This Chromium-Molybdenum-Vanadium Alloy Tool Steel is widely used for manufacturing punches, dies, shear blades, thread rolling dies, cold forging tools, blanking dies, gauges, and precision tooling.
Cr12MoV is a high carbon, high chromium cold work die steel developed to provide outstanding wear resistance, high hardenability, and improved toughness compared to conventional Cr12 tool steel. The addition of molybdenum and vanadium refines the carbide structure, resulting in better fatigue resistance and longer service life.
