Description
AMS 4173 6061 T6, T651, T6511 Round Bar
AMS 4173 6061 T6 / T651 / T6511 are manufactured by extruding solution heat treating stress relieving by stretching, straightening and precipitation heat treating.
Aluminium 6000 Series contain silicon and magnesium in approximate proportions to form magnesium silicide, thus making them heat-treatable. The major alloy in this series is 6061, one of the most versatile in the heat treatable alloys. Though less strong than most of the 2xxx or 7xxx alloys, the magnesium-silicide alloys possess good formability and corrosion resistance, with medium strength. We stock 6061 & 6063 in Round Bars Form.
AMS 4173 aluminum alloy stands out as a versatile and highly valued option. Known for its exceptional balance of strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, this alloy is a staple in industries ranging from Aerospace to Defense.
