ROCKHARD 400 Plates is Wear Resistant Plates from Jindal Steel (earlier known as JSPL – Jindal Steel & Power Ltd.) These are an advanced range of higher abrasion and wear resistant plates designed as per hardness level.
Produced through cutting-edge Quenched or Quenched & tempered process. ROCKHARD Products possess an exceptional combination of higher hardness & toughness, optimally designed chemistry, coupled with superior dimensional tolerances which helps in ease of fabrication.
Rockhard 400 is a High Strength Abrasion Resistant steel plate with a nominal Brinell hardness of 400 (HBW), produced through a quenching and tempering process to enhance wear resistance. It is widely used in industries like mining, material handling, and construction for components such as chutes, buckets, and liners that encounter abrasive materials. While it offers excellent toughness, weldability, and formability for its hardness, AR400 steel is not intended for primary structural applications due to the risk of brittle fracture.

ROCKHARD 400 Wear resistant Steel Plate products for application in Yellow Goods & Mining Equipment (Dump Body Trucks, Bulldozer Buckets, Crushers, Mixers, Loaders, Shovels) and Material Handling Equipment (Chutes, Hoppers, Body Liners). ROCKHARD Plates can be used in Yellow goods, Construction, Mining Equipment applications which are subjected to hard rocks, loading of bulk materials and explosive shocks.
